Dr. Jonathan Toro Ramírez is an International Medical Graduate and Certified Physician Assistant (P.A.-C) with an accomplished background in sports medicine, orthopedics, and regenerative medicine. He brings strong clinical expertise and specialized training in physical rehabilitation, having worked directly with world-class, high-performance athletes. His focus centers on functional recovery, performance optimization, and safe return to competition.

Dr. Toro Ramírez has extensive experience in medical and surgical assistance, particularly in orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, as well as shoulder, knee, and ankle joint replacements. His advanced training in sports rehabilitation and regenerative therapies—both autologous and allogeneic—allows him to apply innovative, evidence-based approaches to the treatment of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries.

He is licensed as a Physician Assistant in Puerto Rico and certified as a Surgical First Assistant by the American Board of Surgical Assistants. He is also recognized as an International Medical Graduate (IMG). Dr. Toro Ramírez holds an International Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Barcelona and has specialized training in arthroscopy and sports traumatology. He currently practices in surgical and sports rehabilitation centers and is an active member of the International Society for Stem Cell Application (ISSCA).
